How to measure your Timberlux™ blind

Recess size (wall to wall measurement)

  1. Always use a metal tape measure.
  2. Take measurements in millimeters.
  3. Specify width first and then drop
  4. Measure the window recess in 3 places and take the smallest measurements
  5. Measure the drop, from the top of the window frame down to the windowsill, in 3 places. Use the
    smallest measurement.
  6. We will make the necessary adjustment for the brackets and so your blinds are just touching the
    windowsill.
  7. Choose whether you want to face fix, top fix, or side fix your blind.

How to care for your Timberlux™ blind

Do not force the tilter mechanism, which in turn will stretch the ladder braid creating a gap at the top of the blind.

Due to the nature of wood it is impossible to obtain the same level of closure as when manufacturing aluminium venetians as aluminium can be formed unlike wood.

Keep your Timberlux™ basswood venetians clean by wiping with a dry soft cloth. Timberlux™ wood blinds are a natural product thus variations in shade, graining as well as warping may
occur.
